ACE 2024 International Homoeopathic Conference

The ACE International Homoeopathic Conference 2k24 was a landmark event organized by the Kattakkada Unit of The Institution of Homoeopaths Kerala (IHK). Serving as both the 1st International and the 102nd State Conference under the banner of IHK, it took place on November 30th and December 1st, 2024, at the Mount Carmel Convention Center in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

The conference was centered around a vital theme: "Innovations for Integration of Homoeopathy in Primary Health Care." It served as a phenomenal platform to bring together internationally acclaimed experts, researchers, and rigorous practitioners dedicated to advancing homoeopathy on the global stage.

A Convergence of Global Minds

The overarching goal of the conference was to build a robust evidentiary base connecting homoeopathic treatments with primary care. It aimed to explore pathways for collaborative care and improved quality assurance inside integrative health models.

It was immensely inspiring to witness insights from global stalwarts from places as diverse as Germany, Bolivia, Greece, the UAE, and Sri Lanka. Furthermore, the sessions highlighted unique frontiers like Agro-Homoeopathy and Veterinary Homoeopathy, truly proving the expanding horizon of homoeopathic science beyond conventional clinical practice.

Supporting Expert Presentations

During the conference, I had the privilege of supporting Dr. Beena Das T R (my mother), who delivered highly detailed and insightful remarks on the "Role of Homeopathy in Allergic Rhinitis and its influence on Bowel Flora." Her session offered brilliant clinical perspectives deeply appreciated by the delegates in attendance.

I also was privileged to see Dr. Arya B Prasad (my sister) present her clinical paper. While my role was primarily supportive alongside my family rather than actively giving a plenary session myself, being thoroughly immersed in this scientific exchange was a deeply enriching experience.

Key Takeaways and Networking

The conference wasn't solely defined by its major presentations—the well-structured panel discussions, focused open forums, and an engaging Pharma Expo created an excellent environment to network. Connecting with fellow delegates around the halls, exchanging clinical anecdotes with senior practitioners, and getting an overview of new technologies was deeply reaffirming.

Leaving the ACE 2k24 conference, there was a collective, renewed sense of motivation among the attendees. Observing the depth of research being presented reinforces the absolute need for robust evidence to validate clinical successes. Establishing rigorous scientific frameworks is a crucial stepping stone to ensuring homoeopathy serves as a universally recognized pillar of integrated primary healthcare.
