Modern Resume Template

This template was designed for the FOCAL (Free and Open-source Creative Art Library) project during the FOSSEE Summer Fellowship 2020.

The Objective

The goal was to create a modern, structured resume template that moved away from standard word-processor layouts while remaining professional and easy to read.

The Design

I focused on a clear visual hierarchy, using color blocks to separate the contact info and skills from the main experience timeline. The challenge was to balance "design" with "function"—ensuring it would pass through Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) visually (for human readers) while retaining a clean structure.

The Tutorial

I created a tutorial to guide users on how to edit the text placeholders, replace the profile picture, and adjust the color scheme to match their personal brand.
