Corporate Letterhead Template

This corporate letterhead template was created for the FOCAL (Free and Open-source Creative Art Library) project during the FOSSEE Summer Fellowship 2020.

The Objective

To create a formal, versatile letterhead template that businesses or individuals could easily customize. The design needed to be minimal yet professional, ensuring that the content (the letter itself) remains the focus.

The Design Structure

A standard letterhead consists of three key areas:

1. Header: Branding area containing the logo and company name.
2. Body: The main content area, often featuring a subtle watermark.
3. Footer: Contact details and address.

I designed this template in GIMP using layers to separate these elements, allowing users to easily toggle visibility or edit text without affecting the layout structure.

I created a tutorial to guide users on how to customize the template, from replacing the logo to updating the contact information.
