Scilab Toolbox Hackathon Brochure

This event brochure was designed for the Scilab Toolbox Hackathon 2020, an international competition organized by FOSSEE, IIT Bombay.

The Objective

To create an engaging and informative brochure that visually communicated the "toolbox" concept and the hackathon's global scale. The design needed to cover event details, participation rules, and important dates while maintaining the official FOSSEE branding.

The Design

The design uses a vibrant, tech-focused illustration style:

• Central Illustration: Features a vector character utilizing a "toolbox", directly referencing the hackathon's theme.
• Dynamic Background: A light blue abstract map background symbolizes the international nature of the event.
• Iconography: Custom vector icons were used to represent key dates and rules (groups, mentorship, etc.).

The Process

This was not a template but a commissioned design task. I worked iteratively with the event organizers to refine the layout and content flow. The final output met print-ready specifications and digital distribution standards.
